Anne Flipo

Country: France

A childhood love of gardening and the bucolic beauty of her native northern French countryside propelled Anne Flipo into a life of fragrance. Trained at ISIPCA in Versailles and mentored by legendary perfumer Michel Almairac, Anne’s creativity and drive quickly resulted in her becoming one of the most sought-after noses for houses both large and small. As a master nose for International Flavor & Fragrance, Anne has created or collaborated on major releases for Yves Saint-Laurent, Givenchy, Burberry, Lancôme and many more, but here at LuckyScent, it was her 1999 instant-classic La Chasse Aux Papillons for L’Artisan that caught our attention with its delightful, strikingly vibrant floral notes. We’ve since found that all of her creations, from tropical vacation-in-a-bottle Ananas Fizz (also for L’Artisan) or Ego Facto’s spicy, deceptively unisex Piege a Filles, project a joy and spontaneity that’s simply impossible to dismiss.
