Serge Kalouguine

A 30-year veteran of venerable perfumer Fragonard, French nose Serge Kalouguine is responsible for many of Diptyque’s classic ‘70s and ‘80s fragrances, including Olene, L’Ombre Dans L’Eau, L’Autre, and Eau Lente. He is often credited as being an early pioneer of strongly indolic white floral scents, once considered to be overwhelming and too oppressive for mainstream consumption.
