Pierre Bourdon initially graduated from the Political Studies Institute, but was driven by passion to abandon his pre-planned career and re-enroll at Roure Bertrand Dupont in Grasse. He studied under legendary perfumer Edmond Roudnitska, and his subsequent work for Roure includes generation-defining works such as Davidoff Cool Water, Serge Lutens Feminite du Bois (originally released by Shiseido), and YSL Kouros.
