Olivier Polge
Country: France
Raised in Grasse, the son of famed Chanel in-house perfumer Jacques Polge, Olivier Polge managed to step out from his father’s shadow via an impressive career at IFF that saw him involved in the creation of some of the biggest designer fragrances of the past decade, from Dior Homme, to Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb and Flowerbomb, to Dolce & Gabbana The One for Men. In the niche world, he’s worked with a diverse set of creators from A Lab On Fire (L’Anonyme) to Van Cleef & Arpels (Midnight in Paris). A recipient of the prestigious Coty Award in 2009 for achievement in perfumery, Polge succeeded his famous father as just the fourth official Perfumer in Chanel history.
