Gothic I - Eau de Parfum

At first, I only got vanilla, and then I thought "yes I smell Angel," but it isn't exactly like it. Now I'm getting a stunning vanilla patchouli, I think this is my 4th wear from the sample. I bought Gothic ll immediately, but, now I'm thinking I need this one too. I really love it. I think I'll at least wait until my order arrives before I get this one :)

This is just sexy, it starts off real strong but in a few minutes the dry down kicks in, just leaving you feeling and smelling so sensual and sexy, all you need is just a dab…. I love this scent!.

When I first got this perfume, my hopes were elevated as I love patchouli, especially when vanilla is involved. Bohemian Reve 'Desert Fleur' is a great example of this type of scent combo. Gothic I has a curious combo of notes that came across as unexpected with the gardenia and mystery spices. On my skin, this does not translate well at all. It was actually rather unpleasant to my nose. However, after smelling on an article of clothing, my mind changed a bit as the scent was far nicer to me in that respect. Overpriced, but then again, I can understand that those who may adore it will gladly raid their wallets as It is what we perfume lovers do with little restraint when our olfactory is compelled by scented beauty. Nice bottle.

First, I bought the oil of this, then I bought the 50ml because I needed both. This is such a delicious patchouli!! This smells like nothing else in my large collection. It may just end up kicking my #2 patchouli out of its spot. My #1 is Profumum Roma's Patchouly. It's very delectable patchouli and vanilla. Best way I can describe it is patchouli with graham crackers. And it lasts till the next day when I'm ready to shower. Both the oil and the spray. I don't agree with the reviewer below me at all, who says it smells "exactly" like Mugler's Angel. I have Angel in many iterations and flankers and it smells like none of them. NONE. This is a totally different scent and feel. I will keep buying this as long as they sell it!

This is lovely but smells EXACTLY like Thierry Mugler’s Angel. A scent I love and have been wearing since its’ ‘90s debut.

This is one of my favorite Vanillas ever. Smooth, sweet, with a little chocolate kick from the patchouli. No headaches here, and I'm pretty sensitive. Well done.

I like all the notes in this fragrance, but when combined, it apparently gives me one massive headache. This is a deep, rich side to Vanilla. I typically enjoy the lighter side. On the plus side, if this is your type, a little goes a long way.

I'm a sucker for sweet vanillas, so of course I would rate this a 5 out of 5! Gothic 1 is a very sweet vanilla fragrance with a hint of patchouli in the base. I also detect a hint of musc which is not listed. Two words come to my mind when describing this fragrance...Soft and sensual.

This is a beautiful fragrance with an unfortunate price tag. Sweet, rich, deep, vanillac and incense laden. Happily a drop on the back of a wrist will last hours. At least the samples are somewhat affordable. Taking one star off for price- other than that it's gorgeous.

Frankincense. Period.

Gorgeous, sensual, and mysterious vanilla incense scent. Not necessarily complex, but doesn't need to be, it's just flat out sexy and yet comforting at the same time. A little too intense for day, better for that special date when you want to "close the deal". Great staying power, but a little too expensive. I'll be saving all my pennies for this one.

A terrific scent with excellent lasting time. However, less is always more with this scent!

Love the dry down, but it still needs for me a little more kick to be worth 250.00!

This is a must have scent for any serious lover of fragrance. Stays long after is is applied. Warms down to a very inviting vin base. A little like The Heart is Decietful. Could sell a lot more if the price came down. Kinda steep for 1/2 of oil. But I'm worth it
