Here's what other people are saying about Blackpepper...
So, I just started buying colognes that aren't named Old Spice or Brut or whatever someone gave me as a gift, so I probably lack the vocabulary or knowledge to make a lot of judgments. I fell in love with this cologne's peppery and spicy vibe. Now, at least on me, it doesn't have a lot of projection or longevity, so I need to re-apply it from time-to-time when I'm wearing it. If you want something with nuclear-blast level performance, like a Red Tobacco, this isn't that. But it really feels like a unique kind of product. I mean, I see perfumes with pepper as a supporting note, but here, it's the star, and that feels different to me. Anyway, with those reservations, I love this cologne, and I plan to buy a new bottle once I finish this one.

I just got a sample of Blackpepper when I bought a full bottle of Cherry Punk from your online store, and I'm falling in love with it. The pepper note is very forward and very interesting, pepper isn't something I thought would work in a perfume, but it does here, and maybe it's the supporting notes -- maybe cedar? -- that soften it out. I know it's listed as a unisex product, but it seems very masculine to me. It's got a dark vibe, which I love. I don't know how long it lasts on the skin, though, so you may need to reapply it later in the day. I think I'm going to circle back and buy the 100ml.

Pepper, pepper, pepper. Freshly cracked, tingly on the nose. A beautiful, spicy wear. Undeniably fresh and clean. It has tremendous sex appeal while being perfectly suited for every day wear. As it goes with many CDG scents, not the longest lasting, but lingers just enough that by the end of the date, he can still smell it on you when he gets in real close.

Amazing. Originally got a sample of this for myself and enjoyed it but ended up buying a full bottle for my boyfriend. You get black pepper, first and foremost, for the entire duration of this fragrance. And it lasts forever- 8 hours on me and closer to 10+ on my boyfriend. Good projection as well; people will smell you with this fragrance, and in the best way possible. The black pepper combined with the cedar and vetiver make for a very spicy, clean, and masculine scent. If that’s what you’re looking for, I definitely recommend trying it!

Notes of black pepper, smoke, and cedar shavings appear in that order. This is definitely a candidate for a bottle purchase for me. I normally don't go for cedar shavings but they work in this fragrance. A rather formal and elegant perfume with a hint of mystery about it. First time I tried this, it didn't last very long, but this time it's lasting for several hours on me (probably applied more this time), but gets closer to the skin as time goes by.

I cannot express how much I love this fragrance. It REALLY is a black pepper bomb, so much so that people could smell it in the hallway in my office and would often question "hmm what smells like pepper?" I love the way this smells on me, it's dry, spicy, fragrant and dark and mysterious all in one. The tonka and patchouli soften the sharpness of the black pepper, as this dries down I get a little bit of a warm subtle sweetness. The pepper will linger with you ALL day this has great longevity and powerful sillage. My favorite CDG fragrance to date.

Unique and lovely. Quite a strong, sharp black pepper initially but the drydown is much quieter and sweeter, though the pepper still lingers. While it's not a scent I would wear for myself, I quite like the smell and wish it came in a candle. Sample before buying a full bottle!

Black pepper throwing off delightful sparks as it dissolves into slightly tarry smoke-and-ozone heart notes. As others have noted it doesn't seem to have spectacular longevity (though I thought sillage was just fine for something this intimate), but it's great fun while it lasts.

To say I like this scent would be an extreme understatement. I'm reasonably new to the world of niche fragrances and have been a big fan of CDG Wonderwood for a few years now, that is until I tried Blackpepper. I have to say that this is my all time favorite scent! It really does smell like fresh cracked black peppercorns, but not in an offensive manner at all. It's dark, woodsy, dry spicy...very masculine and I really love it. The initial blast is all black pepper, but as it dries down you get toasty wood, cedar, green peppercorn, and just a tiny bit of sweetness to offset the spice. It's really a remarkable scent and a must have if you like dry spicy scents. If you like CDG Wonderwood, you'll probably love this too.

I received a vial of this in my Sample Fitting. This would absolutely be one of my favorite scents of all time, if it lasted. Unfortunately it seems to dissipate rather quickly on me; after a couple of hours, I can't smell it at all. If it lasted longer, I'd definitely buy a bottle.

Outstanding, take Memoir for Men by Amouage, remove the Absinthe. You now have Blackpepper, hot blast of pepper on opening followed by incense, cedar, and dirt (patchouli). This is really special, good price point,.

Sillage is waning and brief. Peppery, masculine but longevity is lacking

After using up my sample from luckyscent, I think I'm gonna have to get a full bottle. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite smells! After the sharp pepper opening (which is also nice) it's like breathing in a cool sweet whiff of oxygen combined with a faint cedar/clean laundry aroma. All this with a small medicinal undertone makes for a very versatile fragrance that I seem to reach for constantly. I've also been putting a small dab on my pillow at night, and it's been very comforting and enjoyable to fall asleep to! CDG is one of the better houses out there, right up there with Creed, Amouage, Tom Ford, and Penhaligons! 5 best fragrance houses IMO

Sharp black pepper opening with a nice smokey incense dry down. The challenges I have with this fragrance lie in it's silage and longevity. This fragrance becomes a skin scent within a couple of hours. You have to go heavy on the application to get some decent longevity. Maybe it's my chemistry but all of the Commes Des Garcons fragrances wear that way. Aside from that it's nice scent to have in your Fall rotation.

This is Insanely Beautiful! It smells like a combination of Armani Prive's Bois D'Encens and Wonderwood with tonka bean and a hint of cinnamon.
