I'm obsessed with this smell. I can't get enough of it. I'm going to go broke buying these candles. I want one in every room burning at all times.

Uhg, (Maybe I'm the problem) but I am so sick of candles fragranced like 1980's men's cologne. This one smells just like Aramis. While I do have fond memories of my college boyfriend who wore it - very fond memories - this candle is way too strong and lacks any of the subtle masculinity of say Diptyque Feu de Bois. I have the same problem with Diptyque Oud which smells just like Old Spice.

For the last 10 years we have spent Christmas in Paris at Hotel Bourg Tibourg...the smaller, more intimate Costes Hotel in the Marais. These candles burn in all open spaces in the hotel, and if you return again and again... you'll receive one of these candles as a Christmas gift from the hotel. I am entirely besotted with them.. I wish there was also a perfume. Best scent in the world.
