Here's what other people are saying about Indochine...
This is honestly my Heart Fragrance in a way that’s hard to articulate I pulled it back out after a decade and it’s still wonderful. Warm and earthy and softly sweet without being cloying. The honey fills out the wood & benzoin, the pepper helps keep things from being too muddled, and the cardamom sparkles. I do wish it was a bit stronger with more sillage but it’s a perfect skin scent.

This fragrance really blew me away. Upon first applying it though, I was a little unimpressed, perhaps even a little repulsed. It smelled like a mixture of sour aftershave, an old, dank wooden box and sweet bread. However, maybe 15 minutes later, it began to morph and sing. It only got better and better with time--deliciously creamy, soft, sensual, inviting, and just divine. I haven't been this hooked on a fragrance in a long time. It smells of a softly spiced wood with loads of soft velvety resinous elements. The honey and benzoin create a beautiful texture to the scent, and the wood and cardamom keeps it clean and balanced. To date, it is the creamiest wood fragrance I have smelled. I will most certainly be purchasing a full bottle.

A spicy chocolate oudy wood fragrance with a smoky vanilla tar note that bears similarities to Bulgari Black. When sniffed up close, however, there's something a bit off-putting - it has a weird sweet & savory combo that sometimes repels. I think it might be the vanilla chocolate clashing with the somewhat camphorous nature of the woods.

Indochine should be the operating definition of an "oriental" perfume as its major notes are, in fact, indigenous to Southeast Asia, thereby creating an authentically exotic fragrance that transports one to somewhere culturally foreign, rich in history, beautiful, and, well....Angkor Wat. It is irresistible: one whiff of my sample and I was ordering a full bottle.

The most delicious and rich Indian dessert imaginable! Cardamom and honey dream! Kinda like gulab jamun in perfume form. Love it and definitely buying a bottle.

Unbelievably gorgeous! Strongest cardamom I've ever smelled in a perfume. Does also smell like an incense you'd burn in a temple. Worth every penny, heck, I'd pay $150.

This really complements my chemistry well! I've already gotten several compliments. It does not smell harsh or peppery on me. I can't put my finger on what it does smell like, though. Lasts around three hours then I need to re-apply.

From the description I had hoped I would love this perfume, but unfortunately it applied harshly, and the drydown never mellowed the scent. This one was also very chemical on my skin, and ended up smelling burnt more than anything else. By the end of the work day I had given up, and washed it off my arm. Ah well.

Glorious, golden, luminous, honeyed, aromatic. Got a sample and then got a bottle.

This is nearly identical to Ava Luxe Bois Exotique, but I like Indochine better because it is so smooth and rounded. The Ava Luxe is a tiny bit harsher.

Adore PG line, and this one is no exception....spice, honey, with some green woods, and peppery in the drydown, my only problem is it is sooooo similar to Cadjmere, slight differences, but both are gorgeous, do I need both?? Probably not
