Here's what other people are saying about Sweet Parmesan Violet...
I walk into a room and people's heads would turn. Sometimes people would want to hug me for no reason. It smells like violet pastels.

A fine, sweet scent that smells exactly as described. Violet and sugar. Another reviewer described the sweetness as baby powder and I would agree. So overall, a bit unsophisticated for the price point, in my opinion, but still a fine scent if you are looking for a sweet violet scent.

In this sample I smell violets, Jolly Ranchers, and baby powder. It's not unpleasant at all, but might be a little too heavy on the baby powder for me to want a full bottle.

I really really wanted to like this. I’m looking for a light easy summer scent that is floral and fresh and inviting. If you like violent, you won’t be disappointed. I did get compliments when I wore it. But for me, there was nothing special about it. Its very ordinary. Wearable, yes. Maybe just to splash on as you’re hurrying out the door. Though for the price, I think they are much better scents out there

I purchased a sample hoping this would smell like Choward's violet candies and it didn't disappoint; it smells extremely similar, just like sugar and violets. It has decent sillage and, as another reviewer mentioned, it's hard to imagine anyone being offended by this scent. I came back and bought a full size.

I'm a fan of violet perfumes, though not usually of sugary sweet ones; I got a sample of this for reference. I'd rate it lower if it were not exactly as promised: violets and sugar. It smells like candied violets smell and taste. If that's your thing, this is the one for you. But it's not a soulful violet like the ones I gravitate towards.

Too candy. Maybe I'm being too harsh. But I love violet candy and I couldn't with this. I wanted something a little smidge softer. Agree with another reviewer who preferred Il vs Iris.

A deliciously sweet scent that reminds me of violet pastilles. Lovely, inoffensive, and can be worn anywhere.

Reference parma violet. There is no 'cheese' smell at all, this is strictly a two-toned perfume. Wonderfully done!

This one reminds me quite a lot of Hilde's other scent IL vs Iris. There's a very similar feel. I prefer the Il vs Iris though. It is a soft, feminine scent where the violet for sure is the main note. It's not overly sugary or sweet, more smooth and subtle but always there. It seems to be on my skin very simple, soliflore type scent. sillage is soft, people will smell it on you if they come close but not if you walk into a room for example. I've been wearing it for maybe 3 hrs now and it's still there. I'm a huge fan of Hilde's perfumes but this one I will pass on. She is the queen of gourmand scents if you ask me. I think this could be great on someone else, but for me it's just not working.
