Here's what other people are saying about Eau des Sens...
I REALLY like this one, BUT - like the rest of Diptyque's fragrances, it just does not last on me. This one does manage to eek out an hour or so on my skin and the opening is gorgeous. If you find vetiver a little too 70s or musky for you, angelica root is a much softer, more rounded, but similar note that you might enjoy. To me the opening smells like a garden allotment on a summer day. Warm sun on your skin, maybe some arugula or a tomato vine, and something fresher and sweeter blowing light on the wind. But I can't justify nearly $200 for something that is gone when the hour is up. If lighter, fresher scents have staying power on your skin and you want something with a little spice or a bit different, this is a great one to try.

So fresh, so clean, elegant summer in a bottle! Opens with a burst of orange blossom and juniper and dries down to soapier version of neroli, juniper, angelica and a very, very subtle and clean patch. Lasts 2+ days on fabrics and 6 hours on skin, so I carry a travel size with me during long days or when traveling. I own 40+ niche fragrances and this is the one I reach for almost daily especially in warmer weather climates. During the cooler months, a spritz of this and the winter blues are gone. This is the elevated white t-shirt in my collection.

I am terrified of patchouli and really enjoyed this one. Kinda a spicy orange blossom, inoffensive and alluring. I could not detect the patch at all.

Very floral, decisively on the feminine side. Did not notice the woody notes in the dry down that is listed in the description. A pass for me.

Eau des Sens is my favorite fragrance from Diptique. It is very beautiful and long-lasting on me, more like an eau de parfum than an eau de toilette. Although it has many notes (all of which I like), the orange blossom is predominant on me and I love orange blossom.

The notes didn't appeal to me. Orange? More orange? Patchouli, ugh. But I can't do floral, green, incense, or marine due to sensitivities, so I don't have many options. I got a sample and, very unexpectedly, fell in love. The orange steps out, but retreats about 10 minutes later. I don't detect patchouli or even much orange. I've read that many find it to be a spring/summer ideal but I see it being cozy too. I find it feminine, not unisex. If it were a person, she has no need to announce her presence; she cares about presentation but doesn't need flash. Even if I am not that person yet, this makes me feel like I am. And it's been a long, long time since that has happened for me with a perfume.
