Here's what other people are saying about Blue Sapphire...
First and foremost I can’t get over the price tag. Clive Christian fragrances aren’t even that high. For the fragrance itself, keep in mind I only had a sample, opens up with aggressive bug spray vibes. If you just sprayed yourself with Off Deep Woods and told me it was this fragrance, I’d believe you after that opening. Luckily as it starts to dry down, the floral and citrusy notes take over. Not terrible at all. I’ll wait to see what notes are revealed later, but I can’t see myself ever buying this even if it were a third of the price.

A very classy and sophisticated Oriental that is delicate and never overpowering. The perfume opens brightly with citrusy herbal notes of lemon, chamomile, sage, saffron and tagetes. The heart is a delicate floral rose, jasmine and magnolia. It settles into a nice powdery base of oud, patchouli and amber. Elegant, refined and nicely blended, the perfume is like a sublime blue sapphire. Unisex ( bit feminine leading) with moderate sillage, subtle projection, extremely good lasting power. A bit on the expensive side but so breathtakingly classy, elegant, beautiful and refined. My favorite from the superb house of Boadicea.

There is a perfume now sold by Lush Cosmetics called 'Breath of God'. It is given a rave review by Tania Sanchez in the tome on Perfumes that she co-authored with Luca Turin. One of the scents she detected was 'the sweet biological rot of compost'. I caught the same note, but I liken it more to the scent of a rotting corpse. Seems like I'm smelling the same accord somewhere in Blue Sapphire - and I do NOT find it pleasant! Enough said!

Slightly gourmand with some green notes. Overall definitely not worth the asking price. Barely any Oud detected.

I'm a big Boadicea brand fan. I own Provocative, Ablaze, Explorer and Nemer. This is a disappointment because they are trying push an average scent with an overly priced bottle. If you plan on flashing that bottle around all day, then I guess you'll have gotten your money's worth. My perceived value of this would be $250.00 max.
