Here's what other people are saying about Masculin Pluriel...
I got this in a sample from MFK when I got a bottle there. Just wanted to share thoughts here since I love Luckyscent so much. This smells pleasant, but like the last review states, it goes quick. Half an hour isn’t much of an exaggeration. My skin doesn’t hold scent really well as is, but a good edp can last a full day on me in the right spot. This is a well-blended woody fougere with some lavender and a bit of resin/powder. It’s nice. Not amazing. Longevity is awful, even for edt. I notice someone compared to Drakkar. When’s the last time you smelled that? Please. No. This is a different scent and a higher level of classy. But no staying power at all.

A sorta pleasant, generic men's fragrance that vanishes from my skin after about half an hour. Thanks anyway.

It is nothing new or extraordinary but it is very nice and clean. It smells surprisingly sweet on me. I think all the MFK scents smell a bit sweet.

Masculin Pluriel ended my quest for the perfect lavender scent. I love how cool, creamy, and delicately sweet this fragrance is. I don't smell any of the other listed notes, except for a smooth lavender and white musk mix. Nothing sharp or dark about it. This blend goes a little too sweet on my husband, but I am female and wear this all the time and get tons of compliments on it.

Try this if you're looking for a safe, generic, but well-blended masculine scent. I get oakmoss, lavender, warm dryer sheets, and musk. It's so smooth as to be boring. Difficult to pick out single notes. Frankly, one reviewer said it best: "Alpha Male stuff." But that's not necessarily a good thing because it also calls to mind "Douche Bag." You could get roughly the same scent from Axe Body Spray or Drakkar Noir.

masculin Pluriel is one of the best fougere fragrances I have ever smelled. It is extremely well put together... very polished. It also features great quality ingredients, the lavender is very complex with a great lemony side, the patchouli is very deep but does not have the head shop/dirty hippy aspect to it. :) Finally, cedar is listed but thankfully there is no iso-e super, which MFK uses way too heavy-handed in Amyris and Cashmere Mood. This is a very natural-smelling composition. It is not ground breaking, adventurous or unique, it is simply an amazing take on the old classic and is different and modern enough to not feel dated. My only caveat is it's performance is only ok, but it is an EDT.

This is serious, devastating and inappropriate for most situations. Alpha Male stuff. Am I classy enough for this? I'm glad that I found this before buying unisex stuff.
