This is my favorite perfume. It’s light, citrusy, clean, lavender heaven. Petit Matin is the perfect everyday perfume. It’s perfect for work, brunch, a sunny day walk by the river. This scent is perfection. If you like citrus, light floral and musks, this is your scent.

I’m sniffing this right now and at first spray it’s all citrus- bright orange and bergamot. Then there’s an orange blossom petitgrain note that’s slightly herbal. A sweetness comes into the picture and light wood and amber notes. There is a gentle musk underneath it all. As the top notes go away you’re left with a slightly herbal, light wood scent with a touch of musk. It’s warm and more dry than sweet. Beautiful. I’m not sure it’s right for me but this sample is getting a lot of sniff time at my house. I’m sure I’m not even doing it justice here. This is a gorgeous scent for anyone. Lasts all day. A work of art.

On me, a light fresh citrus like so many others. It's gentle/floral/clean, not zingy/interesting. In the category of "I'd use if someone gave me but not gonna spend my money on a FB".

I really wanted to love Petit Matin as the list of notes, the name and the bottle sounded perfect: optimistic, soft and classy. Unfortunately it is too sweet for my taste, and it smells a little commercial. The first few hours are difficult for me, very fruity and floral but not in an agressive way. It gets better after a while but there is always a sharp sweet note. Forget the lavandin! It reminds me of Annick Goutal's Petite Chérie for some reason. Very different on paper but the feeling is similar. Probably a great scent for a very young girl...

I like PM a lot! It's nothing crazy, it is a clean, cleanest scent ever. Freshly washed air dried , ironed white linen, but it is beautiful . Not citrusy. No aldehydes ,just "clean" I've posted my Grand Soire MFK review while ago and I said I like GSoire better. Not true anymore. Petit Matine grew on me. It's a very quiet scent so it needs a little bit of time... they are both equally beautiful.. and sooo different that you can not really compare them. It's lliteraly like comparing a "quiet -alone at home-early morning" to "beautiful hot romantic summer night (date)out"
