Here's what other people are saying about Revolution...
My daily driver. Beautiful light smoky and leathery notes balanced with warm wood and amber. Romantic and evocative without being shouty or overwhelming. My only complaint is that complexity from initial spray does not last the longest but the dry down is nice and pleasant.

Something about this just felt like bitter balsamic and fire that stings your nose. Every time I tried this, I immediately had to wash it off. I wanted to give it a few chances to really make sure but this wasn't for me. I wouldn't want to smell this on anyone.

Imagine yourself in the deep woods with a Smokey campfire, Vanilla Milkshakes with a hint of spice. Breathtaking fragrance.

Crushed green reeds next to an old campfire. I don’t know why this fragrance DOES IT for me so completely, but it does. Amazing.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this cologne! It smells exactly like a camp fire in the middle of the woods on a starry night. I am a firefighter, and this smells like my bunker gear after a good working fire- with a hint of spice. It is amazing, and when my guy wears it, I just melt!

If Cire Trudon's Rev lived up to my expectations, I would have recommended this fragrance and a box of Debauve et Gallais chocolates (the brand's creators supposedly also Marie Antoinette's gun makers) to go with, but the chocolates especially, don't live up to the hype. 3*

Love this one. Campfire smoke with a cool green, resinous note running through it. It’s warm and cool at the same time and really sparkles on a cold night outside. It’s also fairly light and I find it wearable where I often find the smoke genre a bit challenging for real-world wear. Reminds me a bit of both CDG Jaisalmer for its fresh green incense and Ouarzazate for the smoky woods. I’d give it 5 stars but the longevity is pretty poor-like maybe 3-4 hours.

My nose is sensitive to anything sharp and Revolution starts off with some sinus pressure. This minor annoyance subsides after a minute and soon I'm digging the gunpowder and salivating at the baked ham. Well done. :P As an incense frag, I'm finding Rev to be too understated for my liking, although it's far more worthwhile an experience than Mortel, which turned out ridiculous! Therefore, I'm giving Revolution 3 neutral stars.

Leathery, smokey, warm and soft without being powder. Smells like an expensive leather purse: new, clean, fresh and classy
