Santa Maria Novella’s Carta d’Armenia is a paper soaked in a mixture of infusions of resins and spices, in the tradition of Armenian burning papers used in Europe.
To use, simply fold the paper accordion-style, and light one short edge. After blowing out the flame, it will burn for about 5 minutes with minimal smoke, like incense.
The vapor purifies the air of any odors, and scents the interiors with a warm, sophisticated fragrance. It may be used also to perfume clothing by placing a sheet of paper in drawers or closets.
