After reading so many comments and reviews about this fragrance, I blind bought this. I was not disappointed... however, I have to give an honest review... Yes, the opening is absolutely exquisite with a burst of fresh mint. Not the toothpaste kind, like some reviews, so please disregard those. It's fresh, herbaceous mint that quickly mingles with other notes such as basil and other herbs. It quickly evolves into an earthy mix along with the mint that is so heavenly divine. This sadly is fleeting... Less than an hour, the heavenly mint basil herbs quickly fades. I know most green fragrances have a problem with longevity, but I was really expecting the opening top notes and middle to be longer lasting. The base notes turn powdery vanilla... yuk!

I love this scent. This reminds me of an early morning, wet green garden after a light shower. The dry down is gorgeous as it shifts between green dewy tomato leaves and orange rinds. It's also a long lasting scent that sticks to the skin and about 3 sprays ought to do the job for a good amount of sillage.

So, I really like this. I mostly get mint, little bit of basil, and periodically one of the other notes, (usually the blackcurrant for me), will hit my nostrils. I don't mind that it's mostly mint and basil on me, I enjoy smelling herbaceous. This smells like expensive, all natural, herbal shampoo, (it kind of reminds me of how walking by Aveda smells). I ordered like, 50 samples for my birthday, (big birthday), and I kept putting this off because I was afraid to try it. This is top 5 for me guys, I really like it. I recommend sampling first, this one might not be everyone's cup of tea.

I kind of love this! It's green, basil-minty, black currant muskiness that smells so natural. Late summer. The drydown smells likes sweet-grass with a hint of the herbals. Very pleasant, comforting. It's in the realm of Diptyque L'Ombre dans L'Eau and Aqua Alkeforia Herba Fresca (maybe even their love child), but I like this much more. Maybe a bottle in my future!
