Thirty-three is a fragrance crafted from very special ingredients. The soul of the fragrance is built around a vintage oud - distilled in 1980 and aged until its release in 2013. It is also the only modern perfume to use a significant amount of wild-harvested Chinese oud oil and natural Chinese rose oil to build the scent profile. Contrary to most ouds however, Thirty-three is a surprisingly soft and velvety fragrance, and genuinely fits in an innovative space in terms of the wider oud category. Thirty-three is a deep and dark unisex fragrance, with dry and cold facets.

Smells like an antique bookstore in the best way. Beautiful rose notes but not overwhelmingly floral--it's balanced nicely by the deeper oud and keeps getting more complex as the day goes on. Combines a lot of my favorite scents to make something lovely, mellow, and unique.

I respect the heck out of this one. In a packet of sample vials, this one is the only one with color--a rich, reddish brown that reveals its natural origins. The luxurious, rare wood and rose give off a feel of authenticity, and have the power to trigger genuine emotion. But I will not be buying this one. When I wore it, it came off like a rose scent -- a rich, redolent rose. The sensuous oud played a supporting role. It wasn't manly, and it wasn't "me".

I love this blend. The only other scent combining the two fragrances that I'm a huge fan of is Rose Oud from By Kilian. I've noticed that certain body washes and lotions can destroy the scent. If I decided to wear Thirty Three, I use an unscented body wash and unscented body lotion or butter that before applying to my skin, I put some of the lotion into the palm of my hand and spray a bit of Thirty Three onto the lotion, mix and apply to my skin. It helps the fragrance last longer. As with any fragrance, it's always best to buy several samples prior to buying a full bottle. Order several samples and wear them at different times of day to see how they last.

This is another in a long line of rose and oud scents. Although much more appealing than Ryder, this is nothing to cause a stir. The rose is never hidden, and the woody undertones stay relatively dry, with moderately entertaining faint florals and peppery spice. This is never offensive, but never memorable either. It does possess great longevity and projection on me. A pass and neutral thumbs.

A dead-ringer for 'Montale-Black Aoud' but this has deeper, more sensuous rose notes. Really lovely soft Aoud with rose. A future full bottle purchase to replace the disappointing reformulated BA.

Love Love Love...last ALL day...I had it on in my yoga class and the instructor said "something smells so good in here"...I was the only one in the room...funny thing is, it doesn't smell like Roses to me at all...rather it's very leathery, tobacco'y...very sexy...highly reccd.

Hey guys!! The rarest thing in the world happened today. Did you feel the tremors? I was, and still am, at a complete loss for words. It just doesn't happen. Here's a way of making two expensive scents last longer than they would have; dab on Al Attar Durra at wrists, neck, upper arms and lightly spray 33 at same said points. The combo is magic! You just thought Disneyland is magical…ununhh…not since these too-many-adjectives-for-the-space scents came down with angels. They really are special. And the longest longevity and strongest sillage since Chanel's Cuir Russe. Have fun, I did.

A dry rosy oud combo. The oud is well blended here, imparting woodiness without the medicinal feel one gets sometimes from the ingredient. Reminds me a bit of Midnight Oud from JHAG, but much much smoother. Good longevity and sillage - I could smell it most of the day + a few drops of this and I was able to leave a scent trail. Thumbs up if rose and oud is your thing - I'm a fan!
