Here's what other people are saying about La Tulipe...
Byredo has this one listed as “delicate intensity” and they are correct! I was trying to find a niche house that had interesting but also WEARABLE fragrances and Byredo is that. If you’re looking for a powerhouse funereal parlor floral, this is not it. I suggest Child perfume. This is almost a solifloral but the freesia and vetiver give it some oomph and grounding. On my skin, it lasts a good 8 hours the first 5 has some great projection.

I understand that this is supposed to be the "imagined" scent of a tulip but while this is a pretty floral it's unmistakably a white floral which is admittedly not what I personally would imagine a tulip to smell like. Despite that it'd be a great spring floral if it didn't last for all of 3-4 hours before disappearing completely.

This certainly is evocative of the idea of a tulip. I found it well blended and linear - I could not pick out a single note and it faded on me gradually rather than changing. It is soft, fresh, and clean. It kept me in a pretty good mood. This being a combination of it just smelling nice but also because it reminded me very strongly of the Summer Hill collection from Crabtree and Evelyn, which I wore when I was 16. That was a happy time for me. If I was going to have a wardrobe of fragrances I would get this one for when I needed a mood lifter but since I want a single "signature" scent I'll stick to the sample.

Non offensive, but too primitive. Also no longevity. Just not my cup of tea.

Just too sterile. Not QUITE soapy, but just a little too scrubbed-clean. I might have given it 4 stars since it's not an offensive floral, and it has some interest, but Inflorescence is just so much better in every way.

A simple, pretty fragrance. As the other reviewer said "inoffensive". It reminds me of a lily filled church sanctuary on Easter Sunday - fresh, green, and floral. Not terribly sophisticated but completely wearable. This would be my white cotton dress on a summer day fragrance.

I loved this scent from the moment I tried it. It's a sweet, delicate floral with a hint of fresh green, enough to keep it from being too heady. This scent, to me, can represent the epitome of spring and I found it to be a very inoffensive fragrance. However, when I wore it around my boyfriend and asked him what he thinks of it, he said it smells like a public restroom. This made me sad. I still might buy a full bottle but not wear it around him!

Sheer delight! Spring captured perfectly in a bottle. It very much evokes what a pink tulip would smell like in my mind. This is one of the best spring florals I have ever smelled.
