While the internet can be a nasty, spiteful, ungenerous place (to say the very least), we're delighted to report that fragrance lovers, by and large, are the exact opposite- which explains the success of many supportive, loving private communities of perfume aficionados online, including Christi Long's Eau My Soul. To celebrate this island of positivity, 4160's Sarah McCartney offered EMS's members a rare chance- vote on their top 25 favorite notes, and she would blend them together into a magnum opus of fragrance. Lo and behold, the votes were cast, and Sarah delivered with Eau My Soul, the newest and most democratic of releases from 4160 Tuesdays.

Working primarily from sandalwood and amber, the top two vote-getters, Eau My Soul is an exuberant delight, or as Sarah herself describes it, a "warm, friendly, inclusive group hug" of a scent. A fresh bust of early citrus quickly warms into smooth, creamy woods and amber, giving off the delectable vibe of sparkling root beer. As lush florals blend seamlessly with musk, tobacco and honeyed leather, we can't help but think of sinking into a well-worn easy chair in our favorite pajamas, warmed by an unpretentiously casual mixed drink and a bite of our favorite dessert. We know Eau My Soul is named for the community that launched it. But even if it weren't, the name fits too well to think it could be called anything else.

A sample of this got me hooked. It is such a deep, complex, rich scent. It is absolutely a treasure ti wear to herald in the fall weather. It evokes an early holiday, Christmas season full of boozy cheer. I get a lot of cognac and incense, but it blooms so languidly....it's just like walking down a cobbled pathway full of twists and turns to that one very smokey and seductive tavern only the locals know about where the corner booth is a glossy carved dark wood cove of body heat and breathy, sultry conversations amongst loud bar chatter. Mmmmm it's good.

4160 Tuesdays Eau My Soul. I have just received my sample and fell in love with this perfume. The smell is simply divine. It is also addictive. I keep sniffing my wrist and I can't get enough of my Divine Soul (Freudian slip?). All ingredients are very well balanced - everything seems to be in correct proportion. It is not too sweet or too spicy, but it is sweet and spicy, it is warm and fresh, it is dreamy and energetic, it is cozy (but not homey) and festive - and all of that is at the same time. I do not know yet if it is long lasting or not, I can not comment yet on its projection or sillage; all I know is that I will be ordering a bottle very soon.

4160 Tuesday Eau my soul took me by surprise! At first I didn’t like it I thought it was too sweet! Then the dry down got me and said Oh so you thought we were done! That’s when I noticed sandalwood , Amber, Incense very woodsy and a lot more notes Really too many to mention but blended and balanced together so well! This is a great fall fragrance! Although some may be able to wear every season!

This is an automatic 100 ml bottle worthy fragrance. I'm so angry I only got the 30 ml. This smells even more incredible from the bottle. You know the juice is well balanced when you can smell literally every single note listed!! I just hope they don't discontinue this before I get chance to purchase the 100ml!

This fragrance is my favorite purchase of 2018. It's so cozy! It's a dark embrace. You can wear this all year round. I hope this is around for a long time, I don't know what I would do without it. I have learned my lesson...I will order the bigger bottle next time I order.

A real delight! Although I can't discern all the mentioned notes, I get a very nice sense of smoky honey and vanilla that seems to remind me of toasted marshmallows. A wonderful scent that makes me want to explore the entire line. Just perfect for cold winter days.

All those notes listed and I'm over here picking up fizzy orange and creamy-sweet sarsaparilla (note to self: don't drink perfume, even though you really want to and the perfume suggests it just might work out), but can confirm that this is a big hug of a fragrance with a high honey-and-amber comfort factor and a clean, warm tobacco-not-cherry-tobacco basenote that unfolds at a nice pace, like a good online chat. I love the idea of scent as a group-identifier thing, but even without the pleasure of meeting some of the people behind the names in one's favorite discussion groups, this is an enjoyable combination of group consensus and individual fragrance wizardry.

I have said a lot about this fragrance, and let me just say it is stunning. Warm, sweet with a touch of spice in the background. Its absolutely beautiful! great performance as well! I ordered this blind through the indiegogo campaign and I am so glad I did!
