Here's what other people are saying about Ummagumma...
The chocolate note and overall sweetness come through SO strongly. The church vibe from the frankincense that other reviews have mentioned is also there (and maybe the one note that saves it at all), but the almost saccharine quality of the other notes make this unwearable for me. I had to wash it off after an hour because myself and my partner were both getting headaches.

All I smell is the frankincense, truly like a church incense experience, which is unexpected, from the notes I expected more complexity and it seemed interesting, but a bit of a let down.

Smells like showing up to Christmas Eve midnight mass halfway tipsy with a pocket full of half eaten rich Costa Rican chocolates. I can’t get enough.

I love this so, so much. Dry dusty chocolate that hints at sweetness without being sweet. Lingers for days on clothes like some sort of lovely chocolate-and-incense infused dream. Also this - and this is the kicker - the first scent that’s actually driven me to leave a review on this site even though I’ve been shopping here for years. Trust me: you need this one.

Dark chocolate without a hint of sugar, incense, herbs, charred sage, leather. If you want to smell like you've just been to a metaphysics shop in New Orleans... here you go.

Yep, I'm on board. This is worth every star! I loved this fragrance. Just buy it already; it's that good. I would echo the detailed scent descriptions but I won't do it justice. I wore this in today and every woman (and one brave gentleman) stopped me to inquire. I'm bringing it into work to show everyone, and it'll be the same for you, guaranteed.

UMMAGAWD I LOVE THIS. Wow. Other reviewers have said "incense + chocolate" YUP! And nutmeg, and cinnamon...and sage? This is dry and herbal like that and also warm. It's a melange of notes that doesn't seem like it should work but exalts each note in its contrast. Due to the reviews I tried this on a whim and it is now on my "next bottle" list. Bonus points: This is the only cedar I have ever been able to wear without it instantly turning on my skin into a metallic headache.

Church Incense + Chocolate WOW...
By   - Warden of the North from WinterFell on 11/20/2020
A very potent incense. Other reviewers mention the chocolate--it's there, but subtle and accorded nicely; and balanced with a sort of green/spicy scent, like a fresh hot pepper. Underneath is a burning animalic--again, subtle and nicely accorded, instead of smelling straight like butt (like some animalics do). But all this is folded into the center of a very rich incense. 5 stars on the accord, alone. This is a bit of an extreme fragrance, though--I'm not sure where would be appropriate to wear it. Maybe a ritual in the woods and/or subterranean temple. It certainly commands that sort of eyes-rolling-back ecstasy in it's character.

I've owned this bottle for about a year and a half, and have worn it several dozen times. This is a beautiful versatile perfume that I wear generally in the fall and the winter. It is warm, calming, and spicy. Fairly linear in its approach with an immediate hit of chocolate, leather, vanilla, and spice. I find this to great evening night out, and I generally wear it fairly casually. If you've smelled Slumberhouse Ore, its a less muddy, smoother version, which I like a lot.

A really nice smelling scent, but at the same time way to chemy for me. I assume this has a lot of ISO E Super in it because of the overtly nuclear value. Also, great name (maybe a reference to Pink Floyd) so love that too - but recently I've been looking for scents that are more natural so I will keep looking!

Delicious, comforting, yet energizing. I walk around in a chocolate, cinnamon, powdwer haze all day that draws people in. For whatever reason, it amplifies everything positive around me, including my mood. Every day I wear this is a very good day.

Expensive, smoky chocolate. Warm and intoxicating. Definitely unique but also strangely familiar.

Ummagumma is a smoky, elegant fragrance with lasting sillage! It's a perfect cold weather fragrance that goes with hygge-inspired coziness on a cool cloudy night.

So dense it's hard to believe it comes in liquid form, Ummagumma unfolds like a cat at the end of a good nap. It's a gourmand in the sense that chocolate -- a beautiful dark chocolate -- is center-stage here, in balance with a wonderful accord of roasted tobacco and warm leather, but it's not really about the act of *eating* chocolate (or smoking tobacco) so much as a portrait of the person who finds life better-rounded with such things in it. 'Deliciousness' isn't the effect so much as 'dolce' -- la vita dolce. A true beauty.
