Freshly cut grassy rose.

The name of this perfume seduced me into trying a sample despite my natural aversion to heavy florals lol. I was hoping for more of the bergamot, lychee, and peach, but instead found myself focused on the jasmine, peony and rose note that I couldn't get away from. If you're a floral lover, this will probably be amazing. Gave my sample to my bff who thinks it's amazing.

The lychee, peach peony resembled a rose, and I am still learning to love my roses! Very interesting scent indeed. I am putting this sample to the side and will give it a second chance later.

A beautiful luxurious fragrance with gorgeous floral notes paired well with its other elements. It is not overpowering, wears light (will have to touch up throughout the day as the staying power isn't aggressively long) and worth the cost. This has become my new signature scent and unlike anything I've ever used.

Although there isn’t rose in the scent profile, this gave me a very strong rose scent.

I too so wanted to love this, given that I love closely-related frags, the ingredients & video review. On my skin, it DOES smell a bit like a pixi stix, as Anonisme said — which I personally find gleeful, like Anamcara or Kurokami. But then it never connects. Worse, it gets weirdly metallic. Because I loved it before it hit my skin tho, I thought I’d use it as a hair scent or on my clothes or bedding — anything! But no, there’s something about it that still feels … like interesting acquaintances you’d really like to grow closer to, but because they always maintain an arm’s length, it just gets wearisome after awhile. Sigh.

Absolutely love it and it's still my favorite one. Very feminine and elegant scent.

It's like sexy pixi stix.

I got this in the essential sample pack and I cried then I first smelled it on my skin. When I was younger I spent 2 weeks in Paris on an exchange program and I was instantly transported back to the sunny kitchen of the family I stated with. It was my first time being away from my parents and I was so home sick but my French mom was the sweetest and kindest woman. This frangrance reminds me so much of her and her typical mom hugs.

At first I smelled a hint of spicy tobacco, and I was excited because that is one of the notes I have missed in the reformulated Quelque Fleur. I applied my sample around 5pm and loved it at first, then it started changing, and by the time I went to bed it had completely disappeared. At first I was convinced it reminded me of the original Charlie. This morning I applied more, and continued to try to put my finger on what it reminds me of, Frances Denney Adolfo came to mind next. A little longer I think of Alexander Del Aqua Woman, no it's Karl Lagerfeld's Chloe. Is there something in common in all of these fragrances? I like smelling it because its nostalgic to my childhood in the 70s, but no compliments or feedback from the family yet.

"She wears Thierry Mugler in an Pedro Almodóvar flick. Sparkly earrings, poolside. Frosty fruit slushie in Buenos Aires. Full bouquet centerpiece at the bottom of a winding staircase. Melancholy, moody, sophisticated. Late night walk home along the Siene after the movies. Saudade." -AW Other notes: strong, those around will definitely notice you.

Oh man, I really, really wanted to like this one. To begin with it was beautiful. Loads of layered warm flowers on my skin. I could take or leave the bergamot scent, it just wasn't happening for me. It stuck around for a few hours before completely dissipating to the sands of time. What a bummer :(

You're a soldier of the North Song Dynasty in 1099, stationed along the coast of Guangdong (China). In the peaceful, scientific era of gunpowder and inventions, you simply aren't interested in any future wars, and you find yourself in hiding over at a nearby village, happily relaxing on a hill, looking out across the sea. Women are working in their gardens just yards away, tending to their flowers and singing over light gusts of wind, picking fresh lychee from their trees. You're charmed as a young girl walks up the hill and offers you some of the fresh fruit, and you smile, breathe in, absorb the serenity, and wonder if you're finally home. Fleur Narcotique by Ex Nihilo.

Cedar with hints of fruit; I mostly just smell the wood (even after immediately using). I'll have to pass on this one.

There is beauty in the note choices here, most definitely, but the thing that tipped this one from 4 to 5 for me was the perfect, perfect sillage and transparency -- not quite a Molecule 01 situation, where the scent somehow is and also is not perfume as we know it, but in that ballpark of delightful experiences. After an afternoon of compulsively sniffing my wrist I have landed on “not so much orange blossom and peony, but the breeze that blew through that garden and has now found you down by the river enjoying the sunshine.” Wonderful.

This is the perfect floral- fresh and feminine without being overwhelming, with light fruitiness for balance and maturity. It's feminine and light (great for the office) without being cutesy. Good sillage (a couple feet, not room filling) and all-day staying power! It makes me feel happy just to smell this- reminds me of orange blossoms in the summer. I love this and plan to buy a bottle.

This scent is just ok. It is quite different from any other floral scent I have sampled before. It is quite transparent and stays close to the skin. It would be a good choice for warmer months. It's not for me.
