Here's what other people are saying about Harem Rose...
I am not a rose fan. Most perfumes that have rose in it I loathe. However, I got the discovery pack and this was probably my favorite out of all the perfumes. I can understand why they described this as a young smelling rose because it doesn’t have the old grandma smell. It has a fresh real rose smell with a bit of a powdery sweetness, but not overly sweet or cloying. It has a complexity so that it is mature enough to be called elegant. It’s a beautiful scent and this maybe my first full bottle rose perfume. This is like if you just get out of a fresh bath and smell really, really good and feminine and beautiful.

Based on description, I expected a real-ish rose, maybe warm, maybe a touch of green. My yard is full of several varieties. Upon first test, the opening was strong with a styrax and patchouli open. Thankfully, after ~10 minutes, the darkness dissipates and a jammy rose takes over. It's barely powdery at the end. I despise putting an age range on a scent but 18 and up is appropriate. I would say if you love dark, dry amber, patchouli with Bulgarian or Turkish Rose, this will work for you! I just wish the amber wasn't so patchouli heavy. The rose is nice, though.

This is pretty much as described, but unfortunately (for me) in this case a "cloudlike" floral means a powdery floral and it just doesn't suit me. For someone who loves a very feminine scent this will be right up your alley.

Intensely feminine, very floral drying down to some serious powder. Somehow doesn't manage to smell like it would be better on a teenager, this is definitely more mature.

A lovely, dimensional fragrance — full-bodied but nuanced. Might be a fb pick for me.

Harem Rose is a fantastic rose fragrance and I think the description is really misleading. I get a gothic, old world, dusty, musky rose, like roses in an old medieval castle. It is in no way a youthful pink rose soliflore, so I'm extremely puzzled by the product description and feel it could lead to some very unfair reviews. There is a slight element of innocence to it, but it is very slight, more of a contrast to something deeply sensual and forbidden. To me, Harem Rose is a combination of innocence and innocence lost. It's more sexy and provocative than "sweet'. And much more complex than a soliflore, which should be obvious by the notes. I have a VERY large collection of rose dominated fragrances, and it's one of my absolute favorites.

Whoa. Got this as a random sample with a recent order, and did not like. Disclaimer: I absolutely loathe amber AND vetiver, so this was probably not a match for me from the first. But... youthful?? Seriously? Nothing gentle about this perfume, it's still wafting its horrid fumes from my wrists after the barest touch from the vial, and serious scrubbing thereafter. If you like simple, light, fresh, low sillage perfumes, run. Run far, run fast.
