No.04 Bois de Balincourt - Eau de Parfum

Le labo Santal 33 but sweeter, diluted in Gin & Sprite in the cute roller ball bottle. S33 for when you want to be left alone because you think you're too amazing for everyone; & No 04 BDB for when youre still you, but in a friendly mood and need a favor.

This is ok, but I have other sandalwoods I much prefer--namely Tam Dao. That is much fresher, much more interesting.

I am SO GLAD that Wendy connected this to Santal 33. I bought a bottle of this because, on a friend, it seemed like a sneaky version of Santal 33. I adore that scent on other people, but I bring out a weird, cucumber freshness in it that I don't like at all. I put No. 4 on one wrist and Santal 33 on the other. Not ONE of the 5 people I asked to compare the two said that they smelled at all alike. Every one of the 5, however, preferred this scent to Santal 33. It's the classy, refined, older sister of Santal 33. I should probably do another survey with the two scents after an hour or so. Maybe they get to the same, luscious, dry sandalwoody place in the end.

This scent is so amazing. I love the musky undertones. It is a subtle perfume, not overpowering. I ordered the sample and then the full size!

This is a very light but fresh smell. Le Labo Santal 33 is my all time favorite and this is very similar ... just much lighter...perfect for summer!
