No.04 Bois de Balincourt- Perfume Oil

Gorgeous sandalwood with an undertone of pickles. The oil lasts for a long time, and it is so earthy and pleasant. If you own Santal 33, it is the same perfume.

Every time I wear this, I get many compliments. There's an underlying sweetness to it, but the top middle note of sandalwood and top notes of cinnamon are so otherworldly that it's never heavy, but always interesting. It's a competitor to Santal 33, but seems a bit more complex with the cinnamon notes. Love this.

To die for. The amalgam of cinnamon and sandalwood is intoxicating and I get compliments every time I wear this. It's like Santal 33 from Le Labo, but the cinnamon is a surprising twist. It's my go-to fragrance, especially in the perfume oil.

After testing this out on my wrist, I understand the cult fascination. This is a better, gentler version of Le Labo Santal 33 which smells to church incense for me. This one is just delicious in a warm, powdery almost new bandaid smell. I can actually discover the smell of green guava and fig somewhere between the sandalwood, vetiver and cedarwood. Definitely mysterious and a standout, like plunging into a cashmere soft pillow of luscious creamy sandalwood. Will purchase again.
