Here's what other people are saying about 1900 L'Heure de Proust...
First spritz: I can smell blueberry and citrus from the grapefruit right away! Bright and pretty. Although, my nose cannot detect different notes really well, so I can't make leather out of it, but the vanilla on drydown is super nice and subtle. But sillage is medium and not very great longevity.

Tea has had a big year (or several) and this one stands out from so many that just smell like Elizabeth Arden flankers. The blueberry adds a nice fruity roundness and somehow, I even get a bit of a tea biscuit in the dry down. If you liked the idea of One Umbrella for Two by Floraïku, but found it too tannic or bitter give this one a try.

I bought a small sample of this one because I read the review of Fragrantica that 1900 is very similar to Floraiku's one umbrella for two. And I'd say I like 1900 more than one umbrella for two. An umbrella for two smells like a milk tea store which makes me not want to wear it. 1900 is less sharp and more fruity, but I won't consider buying a full bottle.

Who knew that smelling like Proust's ashtray would be so delightful and uplifting? This is definitely a fruity scent, but not in a cloying Bath and Bodyworks kind of way. The tobacco and leather both shine through beautifully. All the notes are well-balanced; even a philistine like me can smell them all. This is probably the only fragrance I've tried that actually lives up to the description, and I'm saving up for a full bottle.

This one was an instant fave! Perfect expression of fresh pink grapefruit and blueberry-- It's nearly impossible to find a scent this fruit centered without it being super sweet. This sparkles and shimmers with a vibrancy that has to be experienced in order to understand. Just superb!

Was able to distinguish a light citrus note (I guess that's the grapefruit) and maybe some blueberry (?) but absolutely nothing else. And it was gone in about 10 minutes. Thought the sample had a bit more life, but maybe not.....It looks like a perfumer put a great deal of work into this - tea, praline, amber, violet, vanilla, leather! And LS's description is scrumptious. Would have loved a scent that measured up. Looks like I'm going to have to bathe in this just to pick up some trace of a scent......very sad.

All the notes sound lovely, but I don't notice all of them. If you want a fragrance that is lovely beginning to end, you may want to sample first. The first 15 minutes are off--an odd mix of spice, berry, and old, cracked leather. After that, it becomes interesting in a spicy, woody way.

As usual, I don't get all the listed notes-- what I do get is the best pink grapefruit scent of all time. Shimmering juicy pink grapefruit. Very fresh and lovely.
