Inspired by a Greek mythological story, Encelade, son of Gaia (the Earth) and Uranus (the Sky), is brought down by Athena after Giants attempt to climb Mount Olympus to reach the gods. Legend says he's been buried under the lands of Sicily and he still breathes through the fumes and eruptions of the Etna Volcano.
Woody, green, and leathery notes act as a shadow/light relationship, delightfully playing on paradoxes from start to finish. The main accord of rhubarb, cedar and vetiver expresses the smell of Earth: sap and lush nature. Meanwhile, these green and woody notes mingle with a clash of smoked animal leather. Milky sandalwood and creamy tonka bean add depth and sensuality to the skin, finishing a dance of pure seduction and wild magnetism.
