This is a pleasant scent but pretty soft and not that memorable. I think I’ll pass. I gave this another whirl. It is still too soft for my preference but it is really a nice blend of the vanilla, fruit and woods. If you want subtle scents and like vanilla/gourmand type it is worth a try.

I ordered a bunch of samples recently and lucky scent was kind enough to add this as a freebie. This will be my first bottle of Rogue perfumery! I’m very excited because the smell is everything! I will be ordering this bottle in the coming week! For anyone that is new to Lucky scent try out the samples, or order the discovery kits.

This is the fragrance of my dreams. Feminine without being flirty. Floral without being frilly. It's layered, fascinating, isn't overwhelming and doesn't turn into something cloying or musky as it fades. I have a very strong memory of dashing into a warm (but overpriced) boutique in Paris at the onset of a rainstorm many years ago, and this fragrance is that. It's familiar but entirely unique.

I quite like Derviche #1, though it's a few hairs too sweet for me, so the description of DII sounded more my speed. Well, it turns out I don't love it. There's hints of the 1st D in there, particularly peeking from the sweeter, ambery base, but the top and heart are more about woods and fruit- less cherry and more pineapple syrup to my nose. What I dislike is the dose of synthetic woody-ambers which are all I can smell for quite a while and are becoming just so ubiquitous and generic at this point in perfumery (and give me a headache). This smells pretty mainstream/niche. I definitely prefer the original Derviche, but they are different enough to own both if one liked the character of the 2nd. Not for me, though.
