Here's what other people are saying about Nectary...
Every Christmas, I pick a 'blind buy' - I typed 'civet' into the notes list and this was on it. The other notes - oud, rose, ambergris, castoreum, musk - ticked all the boxes for me. I thought "this might be a bit heavy, maybe a winter scent." But no, this is (for me) a perfect balance. I don't know how they pulled this off, but it's so wonderful, it wears very close to my skin and it doesn't have (for all those notes I mentioned) an "animal" hint to it. I suppose the rose, peach and cranberry create that balancing act, even though at no point do I get peach or cranberry (again, my nose.) This is my new "keeper." Very highly recommended.

I don't throw "five stars" around willy nilly, but THIS works for me. The tart cranberry against the really beautiful rose right off the top is this push/pull that wears so close to skin that I have lift my wrist to my face to really appreciate it. And the drydown sets in and WOW does it deliver! I've always loved the more animalistic scents - civet, musk, labdanum - and the combination of the lingering rose and oud with that combination, oh how glad I am to ask for this as a "blind buy" for a gift. It reads on paper like it be really loud, but again, it wears so close to my skin that's almost a "just for me" scent. Yes, the notes are VERY specific and for some could be off putting. But the sillage is perfect and it's a new favorite.

this is definitely a perfume for a perfume lover; it's formulated the way a lot of older perfumes were, with something delightfully skunky to balance out the sweet notes. i can definitely smell the peach, though interestingly, i also smell apple - i think that might be the "red" accord they're using for cranberry. pretty much all you need is one spritz in the morning, and it wears beautifully through the day. i particularly like the strong rosewood and civet, as they match the fruity floral without toning it down.

For something called Nectary I wanted this to be a super fruit forward scent with some nice underlying woody structure to give it that "garden" vibe. Instead the oud takes over almost entirely, with rose playing second fiddle. Don't really get much of any fruit let alone anything I can actually detect as cranberry or peach.
