Here's what other people are saying about La Tarte Tatin...
Very buttery caramel with hints of fruit and sugar. I enjoy this fragrance, but I would like it better as a home fragrance. It is warm and inviting and has great longevity. I agree with another commenter that it would be better as a candle. Lovely for fall and the holidays

I have to agree with everyone else who hates this. As someone who loves Angels' Share, I thought this would be a slam dunk. Boy was I wrong! Three days later, it is still on my watch band (which I have washed with dish detergent). Dusty maple syrup smell. I have to give them props for longevity. I may just pour sample into my toilet tank in November for an autumn vibe smell. 2/10

This perfume is what nightmares are made of. I can't even recommend buying a sample. It is a loud, obnoxious and dusty smelling maple syrup. There is no apple, bread or butter. It stayed on my skin after a shower, and multiple hand scrubbings for over 24 hours, and I can still smell it in my house two days later. I only put a drop or two on my hand. It was immediately placed on my "hate" list of perfumes.

I almost blind bought this fragrance. I decided to sample it first. I have never hated a fragrance as much as this! I smelled like maple syrup all day. I was almost sent home from work to change. The smell was nauseating. I love most of the line, but this was a complete disaster. I still smell it in my room. I had to wash my clothes to get rid of the smell and it still lingers after washing.

Smells like a cheap fall candle. Heavy cinnamon and burnt caramel. Nauseating. Buy a sample before committing to a bottle.

I blindly bought a full bottle, based on a deep love for not only the scent of “apple” in a fragrance, but also Tarte Tatin. I will be gifting this to an enemy, not a friend. There is not one hint of apple. Instead, skin is left with an acrid smell of expired butter, and sugar that was doused with Jousset’s idea of vanilla (see also: gross). This headache inducing mistake of synthetics is certainly one to miss.
