The strength and fragility of the narcissus, a fragrance between shadows and light. In this composition, the perfumer Marie Hugentobler selects the exceptional narcissus from the French Aubrac mountains. Almost 1,600 kilograms of these wild flowers, picked by local growers, are needed to produce a kilogram of narcissus absolute, with its powerful and delicate floral facets. In Narcisse Taiji, the perfumer highlights the opposing forces in this precious and multifaceted flower. In contrast to the luminous and vegetal side of the freshly picked flower, the perfumer conjures up the dark and animal side of the narcissus enhanced by leather and patchouli accents. A perfectly harmonious fragrance that is simultaneously surprising and sensual.
What We Think
