Here's what other people are saying about Wild Carrot Oud...
When I read the description I was transported to my childhood, when I'd enjoy the simple pleasure of pulling carrots from the garden in the warm summer sun. I hoped this might capture that earthy fragrance of the damn soil and fresh green, leafy carrot emerging. I waited for the dry down in the hopes some of those deeper notes might come through. They never did. Unfortunately it's more reminiscent of slightly bitter and astringent supermarket carrots in a plastic bag. If you're into that sort of thing you might love this. Sadly this ones a scrubber, for me.

Peppy and peppery from the get-go. Didn't smell any carrot or bergamot whatsoever but the tobacco, leather, and earthy notes make this a far more sturdy and oomph-y than I thought it would be. I've never smelled Styrax before so maybe the pep is coming from that. The tobacco definitely keeps a slight smoke tone around in the undercurrents of the oud, leather and earthy notes. Asked some friends their thoughts and they thought of saddles/gloves that had been recently oiled. Solid projection. You won't have to wonder if people are smelling you, and it lasted me a good several hours.

Ack. No. Just no. I was hoping for a touch of carroty sweetness or cool iris-y rootiness, but no. It's acrid. I can't remember the name of one of the molecules that's used to evoke leather in some fragrances, but I've smelled it in isolation and it smells like singed green peppers on pizza crust. This perfume has the same note. Your mileage may vary; I imagine this one is going to be loved or hated purely on the basis of the chemistry of the sniffer.

This scent is so wonderfully earthy. Sans the patchouli bs. It’s like picking up a pile of rich warm soil, being in the middle of your garden, and letting it all settle in.
