Oud Maracuja

An intriguing mix of oud and tart fruit, like there are bottom and top notes without any middle. Maybe "unbalanced", but I don't think this fragrance suffers for it. A yin and a yang, feeling both masculine and feminine at the same time. The opening is fruity, but in a pleasantly sour way. Sweet, but like a passionfruit is a little sweet and a lot sour. The oud is pronounced, but I think this is a good way to try it. The passionfruit brightens it so much that it's not heavy or too dark. I don't get rose, saffron, or amber, and the vanilla and patchouli are light to my nose. It's not going to be for everyone, but I think if you like oud and don't mind not-that-sweet fruit, this is a nice scent. 7.5/10.

This started out as an ode to Ace Bandages then turned into a distinctly hospital scent. I hope others have better luck with this than I did. Scrubber.

Potent woody gourmand scent centered around a heavy passion fruit accord. The fragrance opens with the central Maracujá (a type of Brazilian passion fruit) note with slight hints of saffron, rose, and other fruity notes. As it settles, it reveals notes of woody notes (very slight oud), labdanum, patchouli, benzoin, vanilla and leather. The unisex scent has strong projection and excellent longevity because of the synthetic akaigalawood molecule present in abundance. Fans of lush, heavy tropical gourmand scents will find a lot to like in this offering.

LOVE this almost as much as Montale Dark oud. I'm oud obsessed. On my skin, it's Deep, Dark and Loud with rosy fruity floral notes. Similar to Montale Infinity but with less floral notes. My husband was almost upset at how strong the projection was on his skin. It's oud, oud, oud on steroids but not very dry. I like to spray it in my hair because the fruit floral notes get even softer.
