After Sun

This was the first sample in my Fragrance Fitting where I asked for light, fresh, clean scents. After Sun was all of those things. I loved it as soon as I put it on, and when my husband smelled it, he said it smells great - it smells like YOU, like what you smell like! I had to get a full bottle. I can detect the fresh aloe and gin, but I didn't realize it had green tea in it until I read the description. It reminds me of being in a open spa with an ocean breeze - relaxing but refreshing. I gave up wearing perfume during lockdown and had completely gotten out of the habit since then, but this fragrance makes me want to wear scent every day. It makes me smile to put it on and I look forward to using it. Even the pretty bottle makes me happy.

Love! I lean into fresh perfumes in the summer because I want something that can keep me feeling fresh in the heat, but I have been growing tired of florals. VS Bombshell EDT has been a go-to in the past, but it's nothing special. This scent has blown it out of the water. I have found myself wearing it everyday since I got it. It's simple and clean, without being musky or citrusy. I easily get tired of perfumes while wearing them throughout the day, but this one is NEVER cloying. You can really smell the aloe, it's a refined take without losing clarity or freshness. I recommend getting a sample before purchasing because I think some people will need some time to warm up to it. Also it's a 1oz bottle, so quite small compared to a typical perfume.

Short and simple - pine tree car air freshener had a love child with frat boys' cheap cologne... Let's just say I would put this child up for adoption...

On my skin, it's a perfect replica of the smell of a beach resort. The main things I get straight-out-the-washing-machine fabric, some airy fruits, and musk. It smells like you are on the balcony of your hotel room and the ocean wave's mist is combining with the freshly cleaned room you are in. It's like being wrapped in a freshly cleaned blanket or towel on the beach, with the sand and sea mist in the background that makes it feel like you are on a beach. It leans very slightly feminine, but I feel like it doesn't matter who wears this, as it's a cool, clean scent. I will definitely pick up a bottle of this!

What! With cucumber, aloe and the freshest laundered spa towels... what's not to like? This is a nice pick-me-up to banish cold winter doldrums. Bit alcohol-y but that's just the splash of gin. You can tuck this in to the happy section of your fragrance cupboard.
