Sunplosion - Aloha State of Mind

Simone Andreoli's Sunplosion is a tribute to Hawaii. He does amazing tropical scents like Pacific Park, like Leisure in Paradise. They're fun. They're interesting. They're exactly what you want to smell when you're thinking tropical. And I feel like they all have their own little twist.

Well, this one has that Hawaiian vibe, which gives you this incredible guava note, one of my all-time favorite notes in perfume. And just in general, I love guava juice, all of it. So if you love guava, this definitely has that in it.

It opens with some really fresh and crisp lime. There's a little bit of mango. There's a touch of sandalwood in the base, but it's very subtle. I would say in general, this is juicy and vibrant and sunny and just so refreshing. This is really wonderful. And especially the tartness comes through for me. And that's what I really like about this for a tropical scent. It's tart and juicy.

If you're looking for a new tropical, it's maybe a little different from some of your sweeter ones or your creamier ones. I highly recommend Sunplosion.
