Tea Service

I'm a fan of tea scents and I was excited to try these, but on my skin, it smells acrid. When I smell my wrist, it's giving acrid smell, like an old grandma smell. I decided to leave it on a while to see how it is. faintly, I can smell jasmine and oolong and it's the most realistic scent ever! Just didn't like the fact that there's also an acrid and stale smell to my wrist:(

Honestly, really yummy smell. To me, it smells like jasmine tea with honey, to my friend, it smelled more like baby oil when it was dried down. I really enjoyed how this smelled on my skin, you can also get some of that fruity osmanthus smell! I love the smell of tea leaves.

A purchase of mine from a visit to the DTLA Scent Bar that Ezra led me to get my nose on. It was such a hard choice between this and Rain Tea, which I loved its chamomile and honey notes that stuck to the skin like the sweetest warm cup of tea on a gray afternoon. However, the jasmine and peach in Tea Service captured my heart more. It has garnered many compliments for me!

I got a 2ml sample of this to smell alongside Rain Tea and One Day’s Tea Collection (Jasmine, Oolong and Osmanthus). This one is the sweetest of all the 2ml samples I received. It smells like creamy Chinese medicine (with no bitterness whatsoever) and has a very calming, relaxing vibe. Reminds me of my late grandma. It also smells like a boba tea shop. Like a REAL boba tea shop that brew their own tea. This bottle doesn’t fit into my perfume collection, but I like it enough to decorate the bottle and change the color of the cap. I’ll be coming back for a full size :)

I fell in love with this realistic jasmine tea fragrance after ordering a sample set from Chasing Scents in Australia only to discover that shipping of full bottles from Australia to the States had been paused. So, when LS began carrying this brand? So excited! The full bottle is everything I was waiting for, thanks! This is so beautiful for spring and has good longevity and projection. Delicious!

A true-to-life rendition of the fragrant aromas from a cup of freshly brewed jasmine tea. I grew up drinking a lot of Taiwanese oolong and jasmine tea, and Chasing Scents Tea Service is tea time, bottled. Hands down the most realistic jasmine tea note I have ever encountered. The perfumer is someone who knows and loves teas, and it really shows in their work. Bonus points for having good longevity and projection too!
