A perfume of rare and challenging beauty, Blu Indaco is a study in contrasts- or more appropriately, a lesson in how disparate fragrances can create an alluringly cohesive olfactory landscape. Vibrantly bright Calabrian bergamot weaves improbably easily with bitter almond, submerged in a warm bath of mouthwateringly sugared vanilla. An elegant frangipane heart seems to encompass facets of a wide range of florals- a lushly rosy touch, the sweetness of honeysuckle, the indolic sensuality of jasmine. The base is a complex and sophisticated musk, clean but gently animalic, for a restrained but seductive hum that synthesizes the entire fragrance into a one-of-a-kind but gorgeously cohesive whole. Blu Indaco may not be the kind of fragrance that can be easily captured in a single sentence, but for those it's meant for, that's the whole point.
