Fig Whiskey

Boozy and delicious, the smell of stone fruit just on the verge of turning from syrup to alcohol, mixed with spice and earth and a little tinge of green. I think this might be one of the tastiest scents I've ever had. It doesn't have the strongest sillage or longevity, but it does not disappear immediately either. I think it smells so good that no matter when it fades, you miss it and want it back. The sillage is very personal, not for people who want a room to know they've entered it. I believe Fig Whiskey is a true gender neutral fruit gourmand. I adore it, and I want to try more from this new brand whose bottles are also beautiful and luxurious-feeling, though not very large.

Though it has a SLIGHTLY medicinal first touch, after drydown it's a soft spicy fragrance grounded with fruity fig. It is PERFECT for layering with vanilla for a fall/winter scent. It's not overly sweet, almost like a dry apple cider fragrance. I love it and will be purchasing a full bottle when my budget allows. It smells like whiskey, cinnamon, and nutmeg without smelling like a confection. Longevity and sillage are slightly above average for me, generally around 6 hours I can still smell it, and it's not overpowering by any means.
