Phoenix Flame

Okay. This is a blast right to the face. This is the same intensity as Amouage Royal Tobacco, except the incense is replaced with sumac. To me, this smells like a slightly damp sumac spice, as if you had it in a moisture-rich environment. This is perfume as art, but not all that wearable unless you want to smell like strong Middle Eastern spices. I'm not sure I totally get the imagery with the Phoenix, but I respect the perfumer for honoring her culture. Nonetheless, it is unwearable for me. Don't blind by this.
