Here's what other people are saying about Secret du Nil...
This is a tricky scent. The opening blast of honey and almond won't lead you to that "oh, another gourmand" (which I do not like), but to a quality cedar and musk that lingers well into about the 12th hour. I've had this on my wrists and it takes me to a higher place. It's not that "winter spice" smell. It's not that "honey bun" smell. I don't know how they've done this the right way, but they have. This is a keeper. It wears very close to my skin. It doesn't follow me out of a room. It is perfection.

If gourmand is your thing, this is a quality scent, it's just not my to my taste (no pun intended.) Three different samples from this house (I think because what I asked for - and love - is called "Nectary" by Jorum) were added to my order and as much as I appreciate the quality, it's not something I'd buy. Literally six hours after I put two tiny drops on my wrist and I still smell like I did an eight hour shift at a cookie factory. The vanilla icing sugar is overwhelming and I get absolutely no cedar or musks for balance. Maybe it's my nose or my skin. Again, if you love a gourmand, absolutely give most anything by Nectar Olfactif a try - the samples come and go. It's not cheap, nor should it be - it's good stuff, just not good for me.
